Yesterday for Memorial day, we were supposed to go to our church's pancake breakfast.

I woke up at 7:45 (the breakfast started at 8:00) and noticed - a) Lily was still asleep and b) it was raining/thundering/lightening. So we skipped the breakfast and made it at home - eggs, hashbrowns, waffles with homemade jam - yum!

Then we headed over to the Eve's for a Memorial day BBQ. Lily had a great time and so did we! We got to see Tyler and Amelia, Megan and Pete, John and Margie and of course Candler, Colleen with baby Savannah. Lily even took a nap at the Eve's house - it was past nap time so I took her upstairs and rocked her then laid her down in a pack n play in their bedroom with her blankie and she fell asleep! No crying! It gives me hope that our Kentucky trip will go well!
