Jordan's Birthday

My lovely husband turned 28 on December 20th.

His birthday kicked off his two week long vacation from work! What a great way to start your work vacation, with a birthday!

That morning I got up at 6:45am, drove to Kroger to pick up milkshake supplies (double stuffed oreos, chocolate fudge, vanilla ice cream) then to Einstein Bagel to pick up Jordan's favorite, fresh, bagel - a sesame seed bagel. Unfrotunately, I was not impressed with Einstein Bagel... they just do not compare to Panera.

I got home, took care of Lily and started Jordan's breakfast:
*Hashbrowns
*Eggs over easy
*Bagel with cream cheese
*Bacon
*OJ

Phew!

It was a great breakfast! He got fireplace gloves for his tray present. Later he opened his gift from me - a hedge trimmer and a spotlight. The night before we went to the Eve's house and Jordan got to open his present from them. Right before he opened it, I mentioned the only thing I would not want him to get is a gun.

What did he get? A BB gun. Hehe.

It was an awesome present, Jordan felt like he was re-living his 12th and 16th birthdays all over again! His spotlight and BB gun both died this past year (they lasted for 12+ years!!) so he needed new ones.

Jordan also recived a huge Rubbermaid warmer container from his parents. It can be a pizza bag or really for anything else you want to keep cooled or warmed.

The rest of the day went by with naps and other birthday-boy fun. That night we got a visit from Cyrus and Angela as we were just about to start eating our delicious milkshakes. YUM!

Lily has had a blast with all of our birthday treats. Here she is crooning to Angela for me milkshakes as she signs 'please'. Angela couldn't resist :)

Yum, yum, yum!
