Marius' Baby Blessing

*Late Post*

In our church, we bless babies when they are born. It's not essential to get into Heaven, but it's a tradition that is usually done by the father of the baby, surrounded by those the requested.

When Robert and Susan visited, we took that opportunity to bless Marius in our home. The last two baby blessings (for Lily and Robert) were also done in our home - in Ohio and with all kinds of friends and family. This blessing was much more low key and quiet. My dad and Teresa were on Skype on one computer and my mom was on Skype on another computer.

Here are Marius' hand crafted baby booties from Granny. All three of our kids have the same pair from their blessing day.

Here he is, in the heirloom blessing gown that his sister, brother, cousins, Daddy and Aunts were blessed in.

Here we are in our front yard after the blessing

Here are the men who assisted Jordan in blessing Marius - Papa and Greg Flinders (member of the Bishopric from our ward)

We were so thankful for Brother Flinders taking time out of his busy day to come to our house to bless Marius

Here are my Hatch men!

This photograph sums up our busy life with young children. Lily and Rob being silly/giggling together, me wrangling a little Marius and trying to keep on eye on the others as Daddy holds everything together.

My babies holding my baby boy. So sweet. So wonderful.

I cannot believe that I birthed all of these children and have helped them to grow up to who they are now. Wow!

I have this same picture with my other two babies. How precious does he look? They are only a newborn for such a short time!

Aww... in love with our little smiley, happy baby

Granny and Papa gave Marius his silver dollar, as they have to all of their grandchildren.

After some milk and a nice nap, Granny snuggles with Marius
