Bulgaria & Bree

My little sister Briana received a mission call from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon church) to serve in the Sofia, Bulgaria mission!

She will report to a missionary training center on December 1st, 2010 to serve for 18 months after a 2 to 3 month stay there. She will learn their language - Bulgarian and prepare to teach the people there of Christ and his ministry.

Where is Bulgaria? In eastern Europe: It is north of Greece and Turkey, south of Romania

What do they speak? Bulgarian - an Indo-European language that is apart of the Slavic linguistic group with six dialects within a country that is about the size of Tennesse

What is the main religion? Bulgarian Orthodox Christianity (a form of Catholicism)

what a heavenly adventure awaits your sister. all the ups and downs and opposites and sameness in one 18-month period in a country the size of Tennessee. How she'll grow. Good for her.
