Muse & Snow

M m m m m m m mad, madness.

That's right! Jordan and I saw Muse at the Schottenstein Arena last week.

Our good friend Liz stayed with our kids while they slept and we made our way down to campus. We first stopped at Tommy's Pizza and ate a quick, delicious dinner. Small pepperoni with half pineapple, 2 meatballs and garlic cheesy bread. The usual.

We walked about 1/3 of a mile from Tommy's to the arena in the rain, but it was fun. Jordan said I had some fierce 'Mommy power walking' going on, which he found hard to keep pace. I was just too excited to go any slower!

Muse sounded amazing, the lead singer's voice was perfect. Literally no straining to hit the amazingly high notes that he hits. They played older songs, their newest songs and a little of everything in between. The cool thing about concerts is when they start the next song they usually play some sort of an intro that keeps you guessing..

I will say it was a contrast from the Coldplay concert we went to in August. Coldplay was way bigger, much cooler show and we had awesome LED wrist bracelets that synced up with the music. But, it was still a great concert.

After we left the concert, which got out pretty early, the snow had started coming down. We used our umbrella to shield ourselves as we made the walk back to Tommy's.

By the time we got to the lot, we knew the winter storm was really going to hit. We decided to write our names in the parking lot. Unfortunately, as Lily almost tearfully pointed out, we forgot Robert's name :(

After being in the snow for 15 minutes - this was Jordan's fro

And this was me, snuggled up in my hoodie with snow accumulating all over the place

And our car reads .... MADNESS

We've decided to go to a concert every 6 months - once on our anniversary and once at our 1/2 year anniversary. We are thinking maybe Bruno Mars in July.
