Towards the end of August we had the opportunity as a family to visit the Columbus Museum of Art. It's still tricky getting out in the mornings since Rob is still taking a morning nap. But we maneuvered our schedule around and we were able to go for a couple of hours.
Jordan works for Limited Brands who gave out free tickets for their associates and family. Thanks Limited Brands!
Here they are, loading up in the double stroller. The bigger Rob and Lily get, the harder it is to push them! I went to Kohl's yesterday and I had the hardest time trying to get through the aisles!
Lily is introduced to the Lite Brite (is that how it's spelled?)
Little Rob enjoys watching Lily light up bright colored pegs
Lily's finished product:
They had a large magnetic wall with all kinds of metal items attached to it. You could pick something off and go over to a magnatic statue and make abstract faces with the items. Does that even make sense?? It's art...!
Lily was so excited to be playing in the kids explore area (which is where we spent almost the entire time). She got to build mobiles, magnetic faces, tents and plate towers
Here they are building creatures from all different kinds of magnetic wooden pieces.
Rob and I chilling while Lily builds plate and bowl towers
Lily (and Daddy's) finished wooden creature piece of art!
A great way to spend a Saturday morning!
