In the 2nd week of August, Lily and I went on a Mommy & Daughter date to her preschool open house. We decided to make a night of it and have dinner beforehand at Ruby Tuesday.

We sat next to eachother in the booth at Ruby Tuesday and chatted the entire time. It was precious and wonderful to have one on one time with her, talking about all her feelings on preschool.
Lily ordered spaghetti and fruit slices and looooved it.
When we arrived at Trinity Lutheran Preschool for the open house, we were ushered to the chapel which is in the building right next to the preschool. Lily said she was freezing and her little eyes seemed to be taking in the event with some anxiety.
She got to go to her classroom and check it out, so many fun pretty things!
Lily found her name 'Lily H.' (which is most likely how she will be called for the rest of her education.......) and where her book bag would go each morning.
She also found her name on a balloon! "Lily H,"
