Jordan requested sugar cookie decorating for his birthday treat. Since we were all sick, we moved the date to a few days after his birthday.
Lily helped me make the dough for the sweet almond sugar cookies, roll them up, cut the cookies and bake them. She has really become interested in helping me cook/bake anything recently.
We then mixed up the almond icing and Lily chose 3 colors - blue, orange and green. Plus lots of sprinkles!
Lily had a blast, it was so much fun to experience it through her eyes and her level of excitement!
Rob, was loving it too, enjoying the results of our hard work - sugar cookies in the mouth!
Our finished product - soft, sweet, delectable sugar cookies. Yum!
