Kinkead Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my Mom, Grandpa and siblings on the weekend before Christmas. It was so nice to have my Grandpa come up and be with us. Him and I actually got to travel out to Plain City and go to a few different shops and pick up chocolate covered nuts, peanut brittle and other sweet treats. When I was a little girl, before I was in school, my Grandpa would take me to Yoder's to pick up fruits, ingredients and candy. And now it was my turn to return the favor, 20 some years later!

Here is bebe Robert, snuggling with Nene Kathy. While we waited for dinner, we all got to hang out, make some sweet treats - Buckeyes, chocolate covered peanuts, coconut clusters and a chocolate pie. Thanks to Briana and Angela for the help!

And loving on Branuh (Briana) as she tries to dose off, as usual. Can't really blame her, the couch is super comfy...!

Here is the holiday spread - pear and pomegranate salad, corn, orange rolls, ham and funeral potatoes with ginger ale. Oh how I love orange rolls. This was my first time making them and they were  so delicious.

After dinner, we all went downstairs and opened presents. We were surprised by a real train set! Jaye and his girlfriend Megan, built a lot of it and everyone in the family helped contribute to make it happen. It has buildings, lights, trains, a switchboard and landscaping. So thoughtful for our little train lover!

Lily got a scarf from Angela and Princess DVDs from Briana. We got a banana slicer, since eat lots of bananas everyday, a foot massager and fabric markers to help in my sewing adventures.

Thanks Kinkead family!
