About a week after we got home from Evansville, Indiana, my uncle and his family came to visit us for a few days. My uncle Chris is my mom's younger brother, #3 of 5 kids. He and his wife, Anne Marie and their three kids - really teenagers - played for days. They were able to visit my grandparents in Zanesville, my uncle here in Columbus, go to Kings Island and visit my mom, too.
Here is Lily and Gretchen, snuggling. Gretchen, although 12 and 10 years older than Lily, was such a sweet second cousin and played dress up with Lily for hours. Lily was in heaven!
Most of my mom's family is musically talented, and my uncle Chris is no exception. Baby Rob was mesmerized by it. It was so adorable.
Look how happy and delighted he looks! He would sit there and strum it and just be in awe of the noises that were coming from the guitar.
Here is my cousin Cory, eating up baby Rob's cheeks. Everyone was in love with our little Rob.
Here is the whole gang - except for Jordan and Rob. Cory, my uncle Chris, Chris Jr (we used to call him Cub when he was little), Gretchen and Anne Marie. Then Lily and I.
My cousin Chris aka Cub in manly glamour shot, per request
Cory couldn't let Chris be the only male model, so he struck a pose too
Thanks for the great visit Picklesimer Family!

That is so fun! Did your uncle tell you that we saw them in the temple a few months ago? I was like "Picklesimer... like from Zanesville??" Talk about a small world!
don't you love it when your family loves you?
