Visit With Angey

We had the the opportunity to have my little sister come stay with us for about two weeks. Wow, what a help it was for me! Not to mention how much fun Lily had with Auntie Ange. I was spoiled with her help. She put Lily in and out of her carseat every time we went somewhere (which saved my back a million times over). Angela helped me make dinners, desserts and clean up the dishes! She would play with Lily so I could get things done. Angela was always asking if she could help with anything. What a wonderful sister :)

We went to the Columbus Zoo and had a blast showing Dansh (what Lily nicknamed Angela) all the fun animals. Here we are with the penguins!

Lily showing affection to her little friend Savvy on our Zoo trip

How cute is this?! We saw a Mommy elephant and her baby elephant snuggling with their trunks

The three of us chicas enjoying a cool morning at the Zoo. I think it was like 70 degrees that morning which was very welcomed after a two week long heat wave.

We aren't sure when it started, but at one point Lily and Angela started choreographing dance moves on the fireplace. They would step back and forth, shout hooray and then squeal as they wiggled their fingers together. The last dance move consisted of a finger pointing, knee moving 1950's move that Lily loved.

Angela played with Lily so much, she was not bored for one moment the whole two weeks!

We went to a few garage sales together and Angela spotted a Wonder Pets! toy - with Ming Ming, Tuck, Lenny and the Fly Boat. Lily is in love with it! Thanks for the great find Dansh!

This must have been a heat advisory day since we are all out by the kiddie pool. The cool water felt awesome and Lily enjoyed Dansh playing in the pool with her while the preggo Mommy snapped some shots.

For about 20 minutes Angela would pour water over Lily while she danced around and giggled. Each time that the water had barely ran out, Lily would sign and say 'More, please' which sounds more like - morsh peese!

Angela helped me finish up Lily's big girl room with the positioning of the story/snuggle chair. Lily is a fan of Dr. Seuss, here Dansh is reading some cow book that had Lily snickering and moo-ing the whole time
