So many unknowns, but it's exciting to know we'll have a busy year either way. With the past 10 days off of work with not much to do, I have begun searching for homes in the little area of our ward boundaries. We like this area a lot and we've grown to really enjoy the ward we live in. Why not look for a house where you prefer to live first..?
I've discovered that there are so many options to choose. How many bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, year it was built, school district, garage, basement, etc. Last night we found a house we fell in love with. After looking into it, we contacted to realtor to take a look. Waiting for the email response, we chatted about financing, carpet, paint and driving routes to work as we tried to fall asleep. In the morning the realtor emailed me back to let me know the house was under contract - which means it will most likely be sold in the next week. Darn!
There will always be more homes with a steal of a price in this challenging economic era. So for now we will continue to love living in our townhouse as pictured above with our friends nearby.
