As a kid I would watch Saturday morning cartoons with my older brother - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men, Batman, etc. When the shows would cut to a commercial, there was a little announcement that would sing "After these messages, we'll be right back!"

Anyone else remember that who was a child of the 80's?

Anyway, after weeks of no posts, we will be back. We got hit with the stomach virus at the very end of December all the way through the 2nd week of January. It was... painful, horrible, messy, sad and now it's over.

Jordan was also released from his role in our church as early morning seminary teacher, which has resulted in a surplus of happiness from all parties. Robert actually sleeps like a normal little boy now! I thought it would take him a lot longer to re-organize his sleep patterns. It took 5 days of no seminary.

He is currently teething his 1 year molars in, but it's nothing we can't handle. And it's temporary :) He is becoming such an adorable little boy. He understands everything we say to him. He is mimicking our intonation. He is chatty and sillly and snuggly. He is juuust starting to like trains. Oh the fun Lily and he will have in the coming months, years.

Lily is as cute as ever, becoming more imaginative by the day. She currently has made a little treehouse in the corner of the family room, behind a chair. She has a bunch of little keepsakes and toys back there. We pinned some Christmas lights to the back of the chair to give her some light and she is in love.

Jordan is ever more present. He is not exhausted. He is not pre-occupied. He is not going to bed at 9:30pm. He is not worrying about lessons or planning them. He is connected, playing with the kids when he gets home from work, helping with Robert in the middle of the night, painting our kitchen and just present - mentally, emotionally and physically.

I am happy.
